The Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB), a Division of the CWB Group, is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) as a Certification Body. The accreditation covers the welding certification programs for companies engaged in fusion welding, welding consumables and welding inspection organizations. The CWB’s Mississauga Laboratory is also accredited by the Standards Council of Canada as a Testing Laboratory.
Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium (EMC) has grown to become Canada’s largest manufacturing consortium and with over 1,000 hands on industry events annually, the most active manufacturing organization in North America. EMC is a unique not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping manufactures grow and become more competitive, at home and around the world.
EMC is responsible for contributing significant knowledge, expertise and industry resources towards the success of nearly 1,000 member manufactures, employing hundreds of thousands of Canadians, in 53 consortium regions and spanning more than 200 communities in Ontario and Atlantic Canada.
The Ontario Agri Business Association (OABA) is a voluntary, non-profit organization that serves to represent the interests of country grain elevators, feed manufacturing facilities and crop input supply business, operating out of 406 business locations throughout Ontario. The Association also represents approximately 200 associated businesses that provide products and services to the crop input, grain and feed industry.
